⁶³ But ^(A)Jesus kept silent. ^(B)And the high priest said to Him, “^(C)I put You under oath by ^(D)the living God, that You tell us whether You are the ^[a]Christ, ^(E)the Son of God.”

¹⁵ and saying, “Men, why are you doing these things? We are also ^(A)men of the same nature as you, ^(B)proclaiming the gospel to you that you should turn from these ^[a](C)vain things to a ^(D)living God, ^(E)who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all that is in them.

³ being manifested that you are a letter of Christ, ^(A)ministered to by us, having been written not with ink but with the Spirit of ^(B)the living God, not on ^(C)tablets of stone but on ^(D)tablets of hearts of ^(E)flesh.

¹⁶ Or ^(A)what agreement has a ^[a]sanctuary of God with idols? For we are ^(B)a sanctuary of ^(C)the living God; just as God said,

⁹ For they themselves report about us what kind of an ^(A)entrance we had ^[a]with you, and how you ^(B)turned to God ^(C)from ^[b]idols to serve ^[c](D)a living and true God,

¹⁵ but ^[a]in case I am delayed, I write so that you will know how ^[b]one ought to conduct himself in ^(A)the household of God, which is the ^(B)church of ^(C)the living God, the ^(D)pillar and support of the truth.

¹⁰ For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have fixed ^(A)our hope on ^(B)the living God, who is ^(C)the Savior of all men, especially of believers.
