¹⁶and ^(A)warned them not to ^[a]tell who He was. ¹⁷This happened so that what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet would be fulfilled:

¹⁸“^(B)Behold, My ^[b]Servant whom I ^[c]have chosen;
^(C)My Beloved in whom My soul ^[d]delights;
^(D)I will put My Spirit upon Him,
^(E)And He will proclaim ^[e]justice to the ^[f]Gentiles.
