²⁸ “^(A)Come to Me, all ^[a]who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. ²⁹ Take My yoke upon you and ^(B)learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and ^(C)you will find rest for your souls. ³⁰ For ^(D)My yoke is ^[b]easy and My burden is light.”

^10 [a]if you ^[b]obey the Lord your God to keep His commandments and His statutes which ^(A)are written in this book of the law, ^[c]if you turn to the Lord your God ^(B)with all your heart and soul.

¹¹ “For this commandment which I command you today is not too difficult for you, nor is it ^[d]out of reach.

⁵ For Moses writes that the man who practices the righteousness which is ^[a]based on law ^(A)shall live ^[b]by that righteousness. ⁶ But ^(B)the righteousness ^[c]based on faith speaks as follows: “^(C)Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down), ⁷ or ‘Who will descend into the ^(D)abyss?’ (that is, to ^(E)bring Christ up from the dead).” ⁸ But what does it say? “^(F)The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, ^9 [d]that ^(G)if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and ^(H)believe in your heart that ^(I)God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; ¹⁰ for with the heart a person believes, ^[e]resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, ^[f]resulting in salvation. ¹¹ For the Scripture says, “^(J)Whoever believes in Him will not be ^[g]disappointed.” ¹² For ^(K)there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is ^(L)Lord of ^(M)all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; ¹³ for “^(N)Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
