The Twelve Disciples Sent Out

(A)These twelve Jesus sent out after instructing them, saying, “Do not [a]go [b]in the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter any city of the (B)Samaritans; but rather go to (C)the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you go, [c]preach, saying, ‘(D)The kingdom of heaven [d]is at hand.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give. (E)Do not acquire gold, or silver, or copper for your money belts, 10 or a [e]bag for your journey, or even two [f]tunics, or sandals, or a staff; for (F)the worker is worthy of his [g]support. 11 And whatever city or village you enter, inquire who is worthy in it, and stay there until you leave. 12 Now as you enter the [h]house, (G)give it your [i]greeting.
