²² Pilate *said to them, “Then, what shall I do with Jesus ^(A)who is called ^[a]Christ?” They all *said, “Let Him be crucified!” ²³ And he said, “Why, what evil did He do?” But they were crying out all the more, saying, “Let Him be crucified!”

¹³ And they shouted again, “Crucify Him!” ¹⁴ But Pilate was saying to them, “Why? What evil did He do?” But they shouted all the more, “Crucify Him!”

²¹ but they kept on calling out, saying, “Crucify, crucify Him!” ²² And he said to them a third time, “Why, what evil has this man done? I have found in Him no guilt worthy of death; therefore I will ^(A)punish Him and release Him.” ²³ But they were insistent, with loud voices asking that He be crucified. And their voices were prevailing.

¹⁵ So they cried out, “^(A)Away with Him! Away with Him! Crucify Him!” Pilate *said to them, “Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered, “We have no king but Caesar.”

¹⁴ But you denied ^(A)the Holy and Righteous One and ^(B)asked for a murderer to be granted to you,
