2 After tying Him up, they led Him away and handed Him over to Pilate,[a] the governor.(A)
Judas Hangs Himself
3 Then Judas, His betrayer, seeing that He had been condemned, was full of remorse and returned the 30 pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders.(B) 4 “I have sinned by betraying innocent blood,” he said.
“What’s that to us?” they said. “See to it yourself!”

Matthew 27:2-4
New International Version
2 So they bound him, led him away and handed him over(A) to Pilate the governor.(B)
3 When Judas, who had betrayed him,(C) saw that Jesus was condemned, he was seized with remorse and returned the thirty pieces of silver(D) to the chief priests and the elders. 4 “I have sinned,” he said, “for I have betrayed innocent blood.”
“What is that to us?” they replied. “That’s your responsibility.”(E)
