Abomination of Desolation and the Tribulation

¹⁵ “Therefore when you see the ^(A)abomination of desolation which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in ^(B)the holy place (^(C)let the reader understand),

¹³ And they put forward ^(A)false witnesses who said, “This man never ceases speaking words against this ^(B)holy place and the Law; ¹⁴ for we have heard him say that ^(C)this Jesus the Nazarene will destroy this place and alter ^(D)the customs which Moses handed down to us.” ¹⁵ And fixing their gaze on him, all who were sitting in the ^(E)Sanhedrin saw his face like the face of an angel.

⁶ And he even tried to ^(A)desecrate the temple; and ^[a]then we arrested him. ^[b][We wanted to judge him according to our own Law.
