^2 (A)Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: The first, ^(B)Simon, who is called Peter, and ^(C)Andrew his brother; and ^[a](D)James the son of Zebedee, and ^[b]John his brother; ^3 (E)Philip and ^[c]Bartholomew; ^(F)Thomas and ^(G)Matthew the tax collector; ^[d](H)James the son of Alphaeus, and ^(I)Thaddaeus; ⁴ Simon the ^[e]Zealot, and ^(J)Judas Iscariot, the one who betrayed Him.

¹⁴ Simon, whom He also named Peter, and Andrew his brother; and ^[a]James and John; and Philip and Bartholomew; ¹⁵ and ^(A)Matthew and Thomas; James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon who was called the Zealot; ¹⁶ Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.
