¹⁷ But beware of men, for they will deliver you over to the ^(A)courts and flog you ^(B)in their synagogues;

⁵⁹ Now the chief priests and the whole ^(A)Sanhedrin kept trying to obtain false testimony against Jesus, so that they might put Him to death.

⁹ “But see to yourselves; for they will ^(A)deliver you to the ^[a]courts, and you will be beaten ^(B)in the synagogues, and you will stand before governors and kings for My sake, as a witness to them.

⁵⁵ Now the chief priests and the whole ^[a](A)Sanhedrin were seeking to obtain testimony against Jesus to put Him to death, and they were not finding any.

15 ^(A)And early in the morning the chief priests with the elders and scribes and the whole ^(B)Sanhedrin, immediately held council; and binding Jesus, led Him away and delivered Him to Pilate.

⁴⁷ Therefore ^(A)the chief priests and the Pharisees ^(B)gathered the ^[a](C)Sanhedrin together, and were saying, “What are we doing? For this man is doing many ^[b](D)signs.

¹⁵ But when they had ordered them to leave the ^[a](A)Sanhedrin, they began to confer with one another,

²¹ Upon hearing this, they entered into the temple ^(A)about daybreak and began to teach.

Now when ^(B)the high priest and those with him came, they called ^(C)the Sanhedrin together, even all the Council of the sons of Israel, and sent orders to the jailhouse for them to be brought.
