(A)Do not acquire gold, or silver, or copper for your money belts, 10 or a [a]bag for your journey, or even two [b]coats, or sandals, or a staff; for (B)the worker is worthy of his [c]support. 11 And whatever city or village you enter, inquire who is worthy in it, and stay [d]at his house until you leave that city. 12 As you enter the [e]house, (C)give it your [f]greeting. 13 If the house is worthy, [g]give it your blessing of peace. (A)Carry no money belt, no [a]bag, no shoes; and greet no one on the way. Whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace be to this house.’ If a [b]man of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; but if not, it will return to you. Stay in [c]that house, eating and drinking [d]what they give you; for (B)the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not keep moving from house to house. Whatever city you enter and they receive you, (C)eat what is set before you; and heal those in it who are sick, and say to them, ‘(D)The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ 10 But whatever city you enter and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say, 11 (E)Even the dust of your city which clings to our feet we wipe off in protest against you; yet [e]be sure of this, that (F)the kingdom of God has come near.’
