33 Peter said to him, “Even if all the others will be scandalized because of you, I will never be.” 34 Jesus replied, “Amen, I say to you, this very night, before the cock crows, you will deny me three times.”[a] 35 Peter said to him, “Even if I have to die with you, I will not deny you.” And all the other disciples said the same thing.

34 “Truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.”(A)
35 But Peter declared, “Even if I have to die with you,(B) I will never disown you.” And all the other disciples said the same.
