Ovu Dvanaestoricu odasla Isus uputivši ih: »K poganima ne idite, ni u grad samarijanski ne ulazite. Idite radije k izgubljenim ovcama doma Izraelova. Putem propovijedajte: 'Blizu je kraljevstvo nebesko!' Bolesne iscjeljujte, mrtve uskrisujte, gubave čistite, zle duhove izgonite. Besplatno primiste, besplatno dajte.

Sending Out the Twelve(A)

These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: (B)“Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of (C)the Samaritans. (D)But go rather to the (E)lost sheep of the house of Israel. (F)And as you go, preach, saying, (G)‘The kingdom of heaven [a]is at hand.’ Heal the sick, [b]cleanse the lepers, [c]raise the dead, cast out demons. (H)Freely you have received, freely give. (I)Provide neither gold nor silver nor (J)copper in your money belts, 10 nor bag for your journey, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staffs; (K)for a worker is worthy of his food.

11 (L)“Now whatever city or town you enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and stay there till you go out. 12 And when you go into a household, greet it. 13 (M)If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. (N)But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. 14 (O)And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, (P)shake off the dust from your feet. 15 Assuredly, I say to you, (Q)it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!

(A)These twelve Jesus sent out, instructing them, “Go nowhere among the Gentiles and enter no town of (B)the Samaritans, (C)but go rather to (D)the lost sheep of (E)the house of Israel. And proclaim as you go, saying, (F)‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’[a] (G)Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers,[b] cast out demons. (H)You received without paying; give without pay. (I)Acquire no gold or silver or copper for your belts, 10 no bag for your journey, or two tunics[c] or sandals or a staff, for (J)the laborer deserves his food. 11 And whatever town or village you enter, find out who is worthy in it and stay there until you depart. 12 As you enter the house, (K)greet it. 13 And if the house is (L)worthy, let (M)your peace come upon it, but if it is not worthy, let (N)your peace return to you. 14 And if anyone will not receive you or listen to your words, (O)shake off the dust from your feet when you leave that house or town. 15 Truly, I say to you, (P)it will be more bearable on the day of judgment for (Q)the land of Sodom and Gomorrah than for that town.
