^2 (A)And behold, a leper^[a] came to him and ^(B)knelt before him, saying, “Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.”

²⁶ So the servant^{[a] (A)}fell on his knees, imploring him, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you everything.’

²⁵ When Peter entered, Cornelius met him and ^(A)fell down at his feet and ^(B)worshiped him.

¹² And as he entered a village, he was met by ten lepers,^{[a] (A)}who stood at a distance ¹³ and lifted up their voices, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.” ¹⁴ When he saw them he said to them, “Go and ^(B)show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went they were cleansed. ¹⁵ Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, ^(C)praising God with a loud voice; ¹⁶ and ^(D)he fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks. Now he was ^(E)a Samaritan. ¹⁷ Then Jesus answered, “Were not ^(F)ten cleansed? Where are the nine? ¹⁸ Was no one found to return and ^(G)give praise to God except this ^(H)foreigner?” ¹⁹ And he said to him, “Rise and go your way; ^(I)your faith has ^(J)made you well.”^[b]

Jesus Cleanses a Leper

¹² While he was in one of the cities, ^(A)there came a man full of leprosy.^[a] And when he saw Jesus, he ^(B)fell on his face and begged him, “Lord, ^(C)if you will, you can make me clean.” ¹³ And Jesus^[b] stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I will; be clean.” And immediately the leprosy left him. ¹⁴ And he charged him ^(D)to tell no one, but “go and show ^(E)yourself to the priest, and ^(F)make an offering for your cleansing, as Moses commanded, ^(G)for a proof to them.”

²⁵ But she came and ^(A)knelt before him, saying, “Lord, help me.”

^25 (A)the secrets of his heart are disclosed, and so, ^(B)falling on his face, he will worship God and ^(C)declare that God is really among you.

³⁸ He said, “Lord, I believe,” and he worshiped him.

²² And it has often cast him into fire and into water, to destroy him. But ^(A)if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.” ²³ And Jesus said to him, ^(B)“‘If you can’! ^(C)All things are possible for one who believes.” ²⁴ Immediately the father of the child cried out^[a] and said, “I believe; ^(D)help my unbelief!”
