19 (A)Therefore whoever relaxes (B)one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least (C)in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great (D)in the kingdom of heaven.

Fulfilling the Law Through Love

(A)Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for (B)the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, (C)“You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: (D)“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore (E)love is the fulfilling of the law.

Keep in Step with the Spirit

16 But I say, (D)walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify (E)the desires of the flesh. 17 For (F)the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, (G)to keep you from doing the things you want to do. 18 But if you are (H)led by the Spirit, (I)you are not under the law. 19 Now (J)the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, (K)divisions, 21 envy,[a] drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that (L)those who do[b] such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But (M)the fruit of the Spirit is (N)love, joy, peace, patience, (O)kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 (P)gentleness, (Q)self-control; (R)against such things there is no law. 24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus (S)have crucified the flesh with its (T)passions and desires.

A Life Pleasing to God

Finally, then, brothers,[a] we ask and urge you in the Lord Jesus, that as you (A)received from us (B)how you ought to walk and (C)to please God, just as you are doing, that you (D)do so more and more.
