¹³ And leaving Nazareth, He came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is by the sea, in the regions of Zebulun and Naphtali,

A Nobleman’s Son Healed

⁴⁶ So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee ^(A)where He had made the water wine. And there was a certain ^[a]nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum.

Jesus Casts Out an Unclean Spirit^(A)

^21 (B)Then they went into Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath He entered the ^(C)synagogue and taught.

²³ And you, Capernaum, ^(A)who^[a] are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades; for if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.

⁵⁹ These things He said in the synagogue as He taught in Capernaum.

²⁴ when the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, nor His disciples, they also got into boats and came to Capernaum, ^(A)seeking Jesus.

¹⁷ got into the boat, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was already dark, and Jesus had not come to them.

¹² After this He went down to ^(A)Capernaum, He, His mother, ^(B)His brothers, and His disciples; and they did not stay there many days.

³⁰ Then ^(A)passing through the midst of them, He went His way.

³¹ Then ^(C)He went down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and was teaching them on the Sabbaths.

²³ He said to them, “You will surely say this proverb to Me, ‘Physician, heal yourself! Whatever we have heard done in ^(A)Capernaum,^[a] do also here in ^(B)Your country.’ ”
