¹⁸ Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.^(A)

³⁵ The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands.^(A)

²² who has gone into heaven^(A) and is at God’s right hand^(B)—with angels, authorities and powers in submission to him.^(C)

²⁷ “All things have been committed to me^(A) by my Father.^(B) No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.^(C)

²⁰ he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead^(A) and seated him at his right hand^(B) in the heavenly realms,^{(C) 21} far above all rule and authority, power and dominion,^(D) and every name^(E) that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.^{(F) 22} And God placed all things under his feet^(G) and appointed him to be head^(H) over everything for the church,

In putting everything under them,^[c] God left nothing that is not subject to them.^[d] Yet at present we do not see everything subject to them.^[e]

²⁷ For he “has put everything under his feet.”^[a](A) Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ.^(B)

¹³ “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man,^[a](A) coming^(B) with the clouds of heaven.^(C) He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. ¹⁴ He was given authority,^(D) glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him.^(E) His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom^(F) is one that will never be destroyed.^(G)
