³² All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate^(A) the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.^(B)

⁴⁹ This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous^(A)

¹⁸ And you will again see the distinction between the righteous^(A) and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.^(B)

¹⁰ For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us^(A) for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

¹⁷ “‘As for you, my flock, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will judge between one sheep and another, and between rams and goats.^{(A) 18} Is it not enough^(B) for you to feed on the good pasture? Must you also trample the rest of your pasture with your feet?^(C) Is it not enough for you to drink clear water? Must you also muddy the rest with your feet? ¹⁹ Must my flock feed on what you have trampled and drink what you have muddied with your feet?

²⁰ “‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says to them: See, I myself will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.^{(D) 21} Because you shove with flank and shoulder, butting all the weak sheep with your horns^(E) until you have driven them away, ²² I will save my flock, and they will no longer be plundered. I will judge between one sheep and another.^(F)

¹² His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”^(A)

¹² And I saw the dead, great and small,^(A) standing before the throne, and books were opened.^(B) Another book was opened, which is the book of life.^(C) The dead were judged^(D) according to what they had done^(E) as recorded in the books. ¹³ The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades^(F) gave up the dead^(G) that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done.^{(H) 14} Then death^(I) and Hades^(J) were thrown into the lake of fire.^(K) The lake of fire is the second death.^{(L) 15} Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life^(M) was thrown into the lake of fire.
