The Great Tribulation^(A)

^15 (B)“Therefore when you see the ^(C)‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” ^(D)(whoever reads, let him understand),

^11 (A)He even exalted himself as high as ^(B)the Prince of the host; ^(C)and by him ^(D)the daily sacrifices were taken away, and the place of ^[a]His sanctuary was cast down.

⁶ Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, ^(A)His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven.

⁷ It was granted to him ^(A)to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And ^(B)authority was given him over every ^[a]tribe, tongue, and nation.

²⁶ but the ^(A)Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all.

The Woman, the Child, and the Dragon

12 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.

The Woman Persecuted

¹³ Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted ^(A)the woman who gave birth to the male Child.

⁹ For ^(A)we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are ^(B)God’s building.

⁴ So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, ^(A)“Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”
