^15 (B)“Therefore when you see the ^(C)‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” ^(D)(whoever reads, let him understand),

¹¹ “And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.

The Destruction of Jerusalem^(A)

^20 (B)“But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near.

³¹ And ^[a]forces shall be mustered by him, ^(A)and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation.

⁴³ For days will come upon you when your enemies will ^(A)build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side,

^3 (A)Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for ^(B)the time is near.

²³ At the beginning of your supplications the ^[a]command went out, and I have come to tell you, for you are greatly ^(A)beloved; therefore ^(B)consider the matter, and understand the vision:
