² and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.

^3 (A)His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow.

²⁹ As He prayed, the appearance of His face was altered, and His robe became white and glistening.

The Mighty Angel with the Little Book

10 I saw still another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud. ^(A)And a rainbow was on ^(B)his head, his face was like the sun, and ^(C)his feet like pillars of fire.

^13 (A)and in the midst of the seven lampstands ^(B)One like the Son of Man, ^(C)clothed with a garment down to the feet and ^(D)girded about the chest with a golden band. ¹⁴ His head and ^(E)hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and ^(F)His eyes like a flame of fire; ^15 (G)His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and ^(H)His voice as the sound of many waters; ^16 (I)He had in His right hand seven stars, ^(J)out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, ^(K)and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength. ¹⁷ And ^(L)when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But ^(M)He laid His right hand on me, saying ^[a]to me, “Do not be afraid; ^(N)I am the First and the Last.

The Great White Throne Judgment

¹¹ Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face ^(A)the earth and the heaven fled away. ^(B)And there was found no place for them.

^12 (A)His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. ^(B)He ^[a]had a name written that no one knew except Himself. ^13 (C)He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called ^(D)The Word of God.

The Word Becomes Flesh

^14 (A)And the Word ^(B)became ^(C)flesh and dwelt among us, and ^(D)we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, ^(E)full of grace and truth.
