²⁷ “For the Son of Man is to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay everyone for what has been done.^(A)

¹⁰ For all of us must appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each may receive due recompense for actions done in the body, whether good or evil.^(A)

⁶ He will repay according to each one’s deeds:^(A)

¹² So then, each one of us will be held accountable.^[a](A)

¹² “See, I am coming soon; my reward is with me, to repay according to everyone’s work.^{(A) 13} I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”

¹⁴ Blessed are those who wash their robes,^[a] so that they will have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city by the gates. ¹⁵ Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral^[b] and murderers and idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.^(B)

¹⁴ It was also about these that Enoch, in the seventh generation from Adam, prophesied, saying, “See, the Lord is coming^[a] with ten thousands of his holy ones,^(A)

⁸ knowing that whatever good we do, we will receive the same again from the Lord, whether we are enslaved or free.
