³⁶ and begged him that they might touch even the fringe of his cloak, and all who touched it were healed.^(A)

¹⁹ And everyone in the crowd was trying to touch him, for power came out from him and healed all of them.^(A)

¹⁰ for he had cured many, so that all who had diseases pressed upon him to touch him.^(A)

The Sons of Sceva

¹¹ God did extraordinary miracles through Paul,^{(A) 12} so that when the handkerchiefs or aprons that had touched his skin were brought to the sick, their diseases left them, and the evil spirits came out of them.^(B)

¹⁶ And by faith in his name, his name itself has made this man strong, whom you see and know, and the faith that is through Jesus^[a] has given him this perfect health in the presence of all of you.

²⁰ Then suddenly a woman who had been suffering from a flow of blood for twelve years came up behind him and touched the fringe of his cloak,^{(A) 21} for she was saying to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be made well.”^(B)

¹⁴ When they saw the man who had been cured standing beside them, they had nothing to say in opposition. ¹⁵ So they ordered them to leave the council while they discussed the matter with one another.^{(A) 16} They said, “What will we do with them? For it is obvious to all who live in Jerusalem that a notable sign has been done through them; we cannot deny it.^(B)

⁹ if we are being questioned today because of a good deed done to someone who was sick and are being asked how this man has been healed,^{[a] 10} let it be known to all of you, and to all the people of Israel, that this man is standing before you in good health by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth,^[b] whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead.^(A)

²³ If a man receives circumcision on the Sabbath in order that the law of Moses may not be broken, are you angry with me because I healed a man’s whole body on the Sabbath?^(A)

³⁷ Everything that the Father gives me will come to me, and anyone who comes to me I will never drive away,^(A)
