³³ He told them still another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like^(A) yeast that a woman took and mixed into about sixty pounds^[a] of flour^(B) until it worked all through the dough.”^(C)

⁹ “A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough.”^(A)

⁶ Your boasting is not good.^(A) Don’t you know that a little yeast^(B) leavens the whole batch of dough?^{(C) 7} Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch—as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.^(D)

¹³ for it is God who works in you^(A) to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.^(B)

¹⁴ Do everything without grumbling^(C) or arguing, ¹⁵ so that you may become blameless^(D) and pure, “children of God^(E) without fault in a warped and crooked generation.”^[a](F) Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky

²³ May God himself, the God of peace,^(A) sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul^(B) and body be kept blameless^(C) at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.^{(D) 24} The one who calls^(E) you is faithful,^(F) and he will do it.^(G)
