43 And there was a woman (A)who had had a discharge of blood for twelve years, and though she had spent all her (B)living on physicians,[a] she could not be healed by anyone. 44 She came up behind him and touched (C)the fringe of his garment, and (D)immediately her discharge of blood ceased. 45 And Jesus said, “Who was it that touched me?” When all denied it, Peter[b] said, “Master, the crowds surround you and are pressing in on you!” 46 But Jesus said, “Someone touched me, for I perceive that (E)power has gone out from me.” 47 And when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling, and falling down before him declared in the presence of all the people why she had touched him, and how she had been immediately healed. 48 And he said to her, “Daughter, (F)your faith has made you well; (G)go in peace.”

49 While he was still speaking, someone from (H)the ruler's house came and said, “Your daughter is dead; (I)do not trouble (J)the Teacher any more.” 50 But Jesus on hearing this answered him, “Do not fear; only believe, and she will be well.” 51 And when he came to the house, he allowed no one to enter with him, except (K)Peter and (L)John and James, and the father and mother of the child. 52 And all were weeping and (M)mourning for her, but he (N)said, “Do not weep, for (O)she is not dead but (P)sleeping.” 53 And they laughed at him, knowing that she was dead. 54 But (Q)taking her by the hand he called, saying, “Child, (R)arise.” 55 And (S)her spirit returned, and she got up at once. And he directed that something should be given her to eat. 56 And her parents were amazed, but (T)he charged them to tell no one what had happened.

43 And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding(A) for twelve years,[a] but no one could heal her. 44 She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak,(B) and immediately her bleeding stopped.

45 “Who touched me?” Jesus asked.

When they all denied it, Peter said, “Master,(C) the people are crowding and pressing against you.”

46 But Jesus said, “Someone touched me;(D) I know that power has gone out from me.”(E)

47 Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed. 48 Then he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you.(F) Go in peace.”(G)

49 While Jesus was still speaking, someone came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader.(H) “Your daughter is dead,” he said. “Don’t bother the teacher anymore.”

50 Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.”

51 When he arrived at the house of Jairus, he did not let anyone go in with him except Peter, John and James,(I) and the child’s father and mother. 52 Meanwhile, all the people were wailing and mourning(J) for her. “Stop wailing,” Jesus said. “She is not dead but asleep.”(K)

53 They laughed at him, knowing that she was dead. 54 But he took her by the hand and said, “My child, get up!”(L) 55 Her spirit returned, and at once she stood up. Then Jesus told them to give her something to eat. 56 Her parents were astonished, but he ordered them not to tell anyone what had happened.(M)

25 And there was a woman (A)who had had a discharge of blood for twelve years, 26 and who had suffered much under many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was no better but rather grew worse. 27 She had heard the reports about Jesus and came up behind him in the crowd and touched his garment. 28 For she said, “If I touch even his garments, I will be made well.” 29 (B)And immediately the flow of blood dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of her (C)disease. 30 And Jesus, perceiving in himself that (D)power had gone out from him, immediately turned about in the crowd and said, “Who touched my garments?” 31 And his disciples said to him, “You see the crowd pressing around you, and yet you say, ‘Who touched me?’ 32 And he looked around to see who had done it. 33 But the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came in fear and trembling and fell down before him and told him the whole truth. 34 And he said to her, “Daughter, (E)your faith has made you well; (F)go in peace, and be healed of your (G)disease.”

35 While he was still speaking, there came from (H)the ruler's house some who said, “Your daughter is dead. The child is not dead but (O)sleeping.” 40 And they laughed at him. But he (P)put them all outside and took the child's father and mother and those who were with him and went in where the child was. 41 (Q)Taking her by the hand he said to her, “Talitha cumi,” which means, “Little girl, I say to you, (R)arise.” 42 And immediately the girl got up and began walking (for she was twelve years of age), and they were immediately overcome with amazement. 43 And (S)he strictly charged them that no one should know this, and told them to give her something to eat.

25 “If (A)a woman has a discharge of blood for many days, not at the time of her menstrual impurity, or if she has a discharge beyond the time of her impurity, all the days of the discharge she shall continue in uncleanness. As in the days of her impurity, she shall be unclean. 26 Every bed on which she lies, all the days of her discharge, shall be to her as the bed of her impurity. And everything on which she sits shall be unclean, as in the uncleanness of her menstrual impurity. 27 And whoever touches these things shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water and be unclean until the evening. 28 But (B)if she is cleansed of her discharge, she shall count for herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean. 29 And on the eighth day she shall take two (C)turtledoves or two pigeons and bring them to the priest, to the entrance of the tent of meeting. 30 And the priest shall use one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering. And the priest shall make atonement for her before the Lord for her unclean discharge.

31 “Thus you shall keep the people of Israel separate from their uncleanness, lest they die in their uncleanness by (D)defiling my tabernacle that is in their midst.”

32 This is the law (E)for him who has a discharge and (F)for him who has an emission of semen, becoming unclean thereby; 33 (G)also for her who is unwell with her menstrual impurity, that is, for anyone, (H)male or (I)female, who has a discharge, and for the (J)man who lies with a woman who is unclean.

25 “‘When a woman has a discharge of blood for many days at a time other than her monthly period(A) or has a discharge that continues beyond her period, she will be unclean as long as she has the discharge, just as in the days of her period. 26 Any bed she lies on while her discharge continues will be unclean, as is her bed during her monthly period, and anything she sits on will be unclean, as during her period. 27 Anyone who touches them will be unclean; they must wash their clothes and bathe with water, and they will be unclean till evening.

28 “‘When she is cleansed from her discharge, she must count off seven days, and after that she will be ceremonially clean. 29 On the eighth day she must take two doves or two young pigeons(B) and bring them to the priest at the entrance to the tent of meeting. 30 The priest is to sacrifice one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering. 31 “‘You must keep the Israelites separate from things that make them unclean, so they will not die in their uncleanness for defiling my dwelling place,[a](D) which is among them.’”
