²³ He answered, ^(A)“He who has dipped his hand in the dish with me will betray me.

^18 (A)I am not speaking of all of you; I know ^(B)whom I have chosen. But ^(C)the Scripture will be fulfilled,^{[a] (D)}‘He who ate my bread has lifted his heel against me.’

²⁶ Jesus answered, ^(A)“It is he to whom I will give this morsel of bread ^(B)when I have dipped it.” So when he had dipped the morsel, ^(C)he gave it to Judas, ^(D)the son of Simon Iscariot. ²⁷ Then after he had taken the morsel, ^(E)Satan entered into him. Jesus said to him, ^(F)“What you are going to do, do quickly.” ²⁸ Now no one at the table knew why he said this to him.
