29 (A)Bí Jesu àti àwọn ọmọ-ẹ̀yìn rẹ̀ ti ń fi ìlú Jeriko sílẹ̀, ọ̀pọ̀ ènìyàn sì wọ́ tẹ̀lé e lẹ́yìn. 30 Àwọn ọkùnrin afọ́jú méjì sì jókòó lẹ́bàá ọ̀nà, nígbà tí wọ́n sí gbọ́ pé Jesu ń kọjá lọ, wọ́n bẹ̀rẹ̀ sí í kígbe pé, “Olúwa, Ọmọ Dafidi, ṣàánú fún wa!”

31 Àwọn ènìyàn sí bá wọn wí pé kí wọn dákẹ́, ṣùgbọ́n wọ́n kígbe sókè sí i. “Olúwa, ọmọ Dafidi, ṣàánú fún wa!”

32 Jesu dúró lójú ọ̀nà, ó sì pè wọ́n, Ó béèrè pé, “Kí ni ẹ̀yin fẹ́ kí èmi ṣe fún yín?”

33 Wọ́n dáhùn pé, “Olúwa, àwa fẹ́ kí a ríran.”

34 Àánú wọn sì ṣe Jesu, ó fi ọwọ́ kan ojú wọn. Lójúkan náà, wọ́n sì ríran, wọ́n sì ń tọ̀ ọ́ lẹ́yìn.

Two Blind Men Receive Sight(A)

29 As Jesus and his disciples were leaving Jericho, a large crowd followed him. 30 Two blind men were sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was going by, they shouted, “Lord, Son of David,(B) have mercy on us!”

31 The crowd rebuked them and told them to be quiet, but they shouted all the louder, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”

32 Jesus stopped and called them. “What do you want me to do for you?” he asked.

33 “Lord,” they answered, “we want our sight.”

34 Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes. Immediately they received their sight and followed him.

35 (A)Bí ó ti súnmọ́ Jeriko, afọ́jú kan jókòó lẹ́bàá ọ̀nà ó ń ṣagbe: 36 Nígbà tí ó gbọ́ tí ọ̀pọ̀ ń kọjá lọ, ó béèrè pé, kín ni ìtumọ̀ èyí. 37 Wọ́n sì wí fún un pé, “Jesu ti Nasareti ni ó ń kọjá lọ.”

38 Ó sì kígbe pé, “Jesu, ìwọ ọmọ Dafidi, ṣàánú fún mi!”

39 Àwọn tí ń lọ níwájú bá a wí, pé, kí ó pa ẹnu rẹ̀ mọ́: ṣùgbọ́n òun sì kígbe sókè sí í pé, “Ìwọ Ọmọ Dafidi, ṣàánú fún mi!”

40 Jesu sì dúró, ó ní, kí á mú un tọ òun wá nígbà tí ó sì súnmọ́ ọn, ó bi í, 41 Wí pé, “Kí ni ìwọ ń fẹ́ kí èmi ṣe fún ọ?”

Ó sì wí pé, “Olúwa jẹ́ kí èmi ríran.”

42 (B)Jesu sì wí fún un pé, “Ríran; ìgbàgbọ́ rẹ mú ọ láradá.” 43 Lójúkan náà ó sì ríran, ó sì ń tọ̀ ọ́ lẹ́yìn, ó sì ń yin Ọlọ́run lógo àti gbogbo ènìyàn nígbà tí wọ́n rí i, wọ́n fi ìyìn fún Ọlọ́run.

A Blind Beggar Receives His Sight(A)

35 As Jesus approached Jericho,(B) a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging. 36 When he heard the crowd going by, he asked what was happening. 37 They told him, “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.”(C)

38 He called out, “Jesus, Son of David,(D) have mercy(E) on me!”

39 Those who led the way rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”(F)

40 Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. When he came near, Jesus asked him, 41 “What do you want me to do for you?”

“Lord, I want to see,” he replied.

42 Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.”(G) 43 Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God. When all the people saw it, they also praised God.(H)

Ìwòsàn ọkùnrin afọ́jú ní Betisaida

22 (A)(B) Nígbà tí wọ́n dé Betisaida, àwọn ènìyàn kan mú afọ́jú kan wá sọ́dọ̀ rẹ̀. Wọ́n bẹ̀ ẹ́ kí ó fi ọwọ́ kàn án, kí ó sì wò ó sàn. 23 (C)Jesu fa ọkùnrin náà lọ́wọ́, ó sì mú un jáde lọ sí ẹ̀yìn ìlú. Ó tu itọ́ sí i lójú. Ó sì gbé ọwọ́ rẹ̀ lé ojú náà. Ó sì bi í léèrè pé, “Ǹjẹ́ ìwọ lè rí ohunkóhun nísinsin yìí?”

24 Ọkùnrin náà wo àyíká rẹ̀, ó sì dáhùn pé, “Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni Olúwa, mo rí àwọn ènìyàn, ṣùgbọ́n n kò rí wọn kedere, wọ́n n rìn kiri bí àgékù igi.”

25 Nígbà náà, Jesu tún gbé ọwọ́ rẹ̀ méjèèjì lé àwọn ojú ọkùnrin náà, bí ọkùnrin náà sì ti ranjú mọ́ ọn, a dá ìran rẹ̀ padà, ó sì rí gbogbo nǹkan kedere. 26 Jesu sì rán an sí àwọn ẹbí rẹ̀. Ó kìlọ̀ fún un pé, “Má ṣe lọ sí ìlú, kí o má sì sọ fún ẹnikẹ́ni ní ìlú.”

Jesus Heals a Blind Man at Bethsaida

22 They came to Bethsaida,(A) and some people brought a blind man(B) and begged Jesus to touch him. 23 He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit(C) on the man’s eyes and put his hands on(D) him, Jesus asked, “Do you see anything?”

24 He looked up and said, “I see people; they look like trees walking around.”

25 Once more Jesus put his hands on the man’s eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly. 26 Jesus sent him home, saying, “Don’t even go into[a] the village.”
