Pinagaling ni Jesus ang Isang Ketongin(A)
8 Pagbaba ni Jesus mula sa bundok, sinundan siya ng napakaraming tao. 2 Lumapit sa kanya ang isang taong may ketong,[a] lumuhod sa harapan niya, at sinabi, “Panginoon, kung nais po ninyo, ako'y inyong mapapagaling at magagawang malinis.” 3 Hinawakan siya ni Jesus at sinabi, “Oo, nais ko. Maging malinis ka.” Gumaling at luminis nga agad ang ketongin. 4 Pagkatapos,(B) sinabi sa kanya ni Jesus, “Huwag mong sasabihin ito kaninuman. Sa halip, pumunta ka at magpasuri sa pari. Pagkatapos, mag-alay ka ng handog na iniuutos ni Moises bilang patunay sa mga tao na ikaw nga'y magaling at malinis na.”

5 Pagpasok ni Jesus sa Capernaum, lumapit sa kanya ang isang opisyal ng hukbong Romano at nakiusap, 6 “Ginoo, ang aking katulong ay naparalisado. Siya po'y nakaratay sa bahay at lubhang nahihirapan.” 7 Sinabi ni Jesus, “Pupuntahan ko siya at pagagalingin.” 8 Ngunit sumagot sa kanya ang opisyal, “Ginoo, hindi po ako karapat-dapat na puntahan pa ninyo sa aking bahay. Sabihin lamang po ninyo at gagaling na ang aking katulong. 9 Ako'y(D) nasa ilalim ng mga nakakataas na pinuno at may nasasakupan ding mga kawal. Kapag inutusan ko ang isa, ‘Pumunta ka roon!’ siya'y pumupunta; at ang isa naman, ‘Halika!’ siya'y lumalapit. Kapag sinabi ko sa aking alipin, ‘Gawin mo ito!’ ginagawa nga niya iyon.” 10 Namangha si Jesus nang marinig ito at sinabi niya sa mga taong sumusunod sa kanya, “Tandaan ninyo: hindi pa ako nakakita ng ganito kalaking pananampalataya sa buong Israel. 11 Tandaan(E) ninyo: marami ang darating buhat sa silangan at sa kanluran at dudulog sa hapag na kasalo nina Abraham, Isaac at Jacob sa kaharian ng langit. 12 Ngunit(F) ang mga taong dapat sana'y kasama sa kaharian ay itatapon sa kadiliman; mananangis sila doon at magngangalit ang kanilang mga ngipin.” 13 At sinabi ni Jesus sa opisyal, “Umuwi ka na; mangyayari ang hinihiling mo ayon sa iyong pananampalataya.” Sa oras ding iyon ay gumaling ang katulong ng kapitan.
Maraming Pinagaling si Jesus(G)
14 Pumunta si Jesus sa bahay ni Pedro at nakita niya roon ang biyenan nito na nakaratay at nilalagnat. 15 Hinawakan ni Jesus ang kamay ng babae at nawala ang lagnat nito. Bumangon ang babae at naglingkod kay Jesus.
16 Nang gabing iyon, dinala kay Jesus ang maraming sinasapian ng mga demonyo. Sa isang salita lamang ay pinalayas niya ang masasamang espiritu at pinagaling ang lahat ng may karamdaman. 17 Sa(H) gayon, natupad ang sinabi ni Propeta Isaias,
“Inalis niya ang ating mga kahinaan,
pinagaling ang ating mga karamdaman.”
Ang Paglilingkod kay Jesus(I)
18 Nang makita ni Jesus ang mga tao[b] sa kanyang paligid, iniutos niya sa mga alagad na maghandang tumawid sa kabilang ibayo. 19 Lumapit sa kanya ang isang tagapagturo ng Kautusan at sinabi, “Guro, sasama po ako sa inyo saanman kayo pupunta.” 20 Ngunit sumagot si Jesus, “May mga lungga ang mga asong-gubat at may mga pugad ang mga ibon, ngunit wala man lamang matulugan o mapagpahingahan ang Anak ng Tao.” 21 Isa(J) naman sa mga alagad[c] ay nagsabi sa kanya, “Panginoon, maaari po bang umuwi muna ako upang ipalibing ko ang aking ama?” 22 Ngunit sinabi sa kanya ni Jesus, “Sumunod ka sa akin at ipaubaya mo sa mga patay ang paglilibing ng kanilang mga patay.”
Pinatigil ni Jesus ang Bagyo sa Lawa(K)
23 Sumakay si Jesus sa bangka, kasama ng kanyang mga alagad. 24 Habang sila'y naglalayag sa lawa, si Jesus ay natutulog. Biglang bumugso ang isang malakas na unos at halos matabunan ng mga alon ang bangka. 25 Kaya nilapitan ng mga alagad si Jesus at ginising. “Panginoon, iligtas ninyo kami! Mamamatay kami!” sabi nila. 26 Ngunit sinabi niya sa kanila, “Bakit kayo natatakot? Napakaliit naman ng inyong pananampalataya!” Bumangon siya, pinatigil ang hangin at ang mga alon, at bumuti ang panahon. 27 Namangha silang lahat at sinabi, “Ano kayang uri ng tao ito? Maging ang hangin at ang lawa ay sumusunod sa kanya!”
Mga Gadarenong Pinalaya sa Pang-aalipin ng mga Demonyo(L)
28 Nang dumating si Jesus sa kabilang ibayo, sa lupain ng mga Gadareno,[d] sinalubong siya ng dalawang lalaking sinasapian ng mga demonyo. Sila ay nakatira sa libingan. Napakababangis nila kaya't walang sinuman ang dumaraan doon. 29 Biglang nagsisigaw ang dalawang lalaki, “Ano ang pakialam mo sa amin, Anak ng Diyos? Naparito ka ba upang pahirapan kami kahit hindi pa panahon?” 30 Sa di-kalayuan ay may malaking kawan ng mga baboy na nagsisikain. 31 Nakiusap sa kanya ang mga demonyo, “Kung palalayasin mo kami, papasukin mo kami sa mga baboy na iyon.” 32 Sinabi ni Jesus, “Sige, lumayas kayo.” Lumabas nga sila sa dalawang lalaki at pumasok sa mga baboy. Ang buong kawan ay biglang tumakbo papunta sa bangin, nahulog sa lawa at nalunod.
33 Nagtakbuhan papuntang bayan ang mga tagapag-alaga ng mga baboy. Pagdating doon, ipinamalita nila ang buong pangyayari, pati ang naganap sa mga lalaking sinapian ng mga demonyo. 34 Kaya't lumabas ang buong bayan upang salubungin si Jesus. Pagkakita sa kanya, ipinakiusap nilang lisanin niya ang kanilang lupain.

Jesús sana a un leproso
(Mr 1:40-45; Lc 5:12-16)
8 Cuando Jesús bajó de la ladera de la montaña, mucha gente lo seguía. 2 Entonces un leproso se arrodilló delante de él y le dijo:
—Señor, si quieres, puedes quitarme esta enfermedad.
3 Jesús extendió la mano, lo tocó y dijo:
—Sí quiero. ¡Sana ya!
En ese mismo instante se le quitó la lepra. 4 Entonces Jesús le dijo:
—Mira, no se lo cuentes a nadie. Ve y preséntate ante el sacerdote[a] y da la ofrenda que Moisés ordenó. Esto servirá para que la gente compruebe que has sido sanado.
Jesús sana al siervo de un capitán
(Lc 7:1-10; Jn 4:43-54)
5 Cuando Jesús entró en Capernaúm, se le acercó un capitán romano para pedirle ayuda. 6 El capitán le dijo:
—Señor, mi siervo está en cama, no se puede mover y tiene un dolor terrible.
7 Entonces Jesús le dijo:
—Iré a sanarlo.
8 El capitán le contestó:
—Señor, no merezco que vayas a mi casa, pero tan sólo da la orden y mi siervo quedará sanado. 9 Porque yo estoy bajo la autoridad de mis superiores y a la vez tengo a muchos soldados bajo mi autoridad. Si le digo a un soldado: “Ve”, él va. Si le digo a otro: “Ven”, él viene. Y si le digo a mi siervo: “Haz esto”, él lo hace.
10 Cuando Jesús escuchó esto, se admiró mucho y les dijo a los que lo seguían:
—Les digo la verdad: nunca he visto en Israel a nadie con tanta fe. 11 Además les digo que muchos vendrán del oriente y del occidente y en el reino de Dios participarán en un banquete con Abraham, Isaac y Jacob. 12 Pero los que nacieron para tener el reino serán expulsados. Estarán en la oscuridad, donde llorarán y crujirán los dientes de dolor.
13 Entonces Jesús le dijo al capitán:
—Ve a tu casa, tu siervo sanará así como creíste.
Y en ese mismo instante el siervo fue sanado.
Jesús sana a la suegra de Pedro
(Mr 1:29-31; Lc 4:38-39)
14 Cuando Jesús llegó a la casa de Pedro, vio que la suegra de Pedro estaba en cama y con fiebre. 15 Jesús le tocó la mano y la fiebre la dejó. Entonces ella se levantó y empezó a atenderlos.
Jesús sana a mucha más gente
(Mr 1:32-34; Lc 4:40-41)
16 Al anochecer, la gente le trajo a Jesús muchos atormentados por demonios y él ordenó a los espíritus que salieran. Sanó a todos los que estaban enfermos. 17 (A)Esto sucedió para que se cumpliera lo que dijo el profeta Isaías:
«Él quitó todas nuestras dolencias
y llevó nuestras enfermedades».[b]
Seguir a Jesús

18 Cuando Jesús vio a la multitud que lo rodeaba, ordenó a sus seguidores que se fueran al otro lado del lago. 19 Un maestro de la ley se acercó a él y le dijo:
—Maestro, te seguiré a dondequiera que vayas.
20 Entonces Jesús le dijo:
—Las zorras tienen sus madrigueras y las aves tienen sus nidos, pero el Hijo del hombre no tiene un lugar donde descansar la cabeza.
21 Otro de sus seguidores le dijo:
—Señor, déjame primero ir a enterrar a mi papá.
22 Pero Jesús le dijo:
—Sígueme, y deja que los muertos entierren a sus muertos.
Jesús calma una tormenta
(Mr 4:35-41; Lc 8:22-25)
23 Jesús subió a la barca y sus seguidores lo acompañaron. 24 Entonces se desató una gran tormenta y las olas estaban cubriendo la barca, pero Jesús estaba durmiendo. 25 Entonces los seguidores se acercaron, lo despertaron y le dijeron:
—¡Señor, sálvanos! ¡Nos estamos ahogando!
26 Él les dijo:
—¿Por qué son tan cobardes, hombres de poca fe?
Jesús se levantó y regaño a los vientos y al mar; y todo quedó en gran calma. 27 Ellos no lo podían creer y decían:
—¿Quién es este hombre que hasta el viento y las olas lo obedecen?
Jesús expulsa unos demonios
(Mr 5:1-20; Lc 8:26-39)
28 Cuando Jesús llegó a la otra orilla del lago, a la región de los gadarenos[c], se le acercaron de entre las tumbas dos hombres poseídos por demonios. Vivían allí y eran muy violentos, por lo que nadie podía pasar por ahí. 29 De pronto ellos gritaron:
—¿Qué quieres de nosotros, Hijo de Dios? ¿Has venido antes de tiempo para castigarnos?
30 A lo lejos había muchos cerdos comiendo. 31 Entonces los demonios le rogaron a Jesús:
—Si vas a expulsarnos de estos hombres, mándanos a entrar en esos cerdos.
32 Entonces Jesús les dijo:
—¡Vayan!
Los demonios salieron de los hombres y entraron en los cerdos. Entonces todos los cerdos se echaron a correr pendiente abajo por el barranco, cayeron en las aguas y se ahogaron. 33 Los encargados de cuidar a los cerdos salieron huyendo. Al llegar al pueblo, contaron todo lo que había pasado e incluso lo que les pasó a los hombres que estaban poseídos. 34 Entonces todo el pueblo salió a ver a Jesús y le pidieron que se fuera de esa región.

Jesus Heals a Man With Leprosy(A)
8 When Jesus came down from the mountainside, large crowds followed him. 2 A man with leprosy[a](B) came and knelt before him(C) and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”
3 Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy. 4 Then Jesus said to him, “See that you don’t tell anyone.(D) But go, show yourself to the priest(E) and offer the gift Moses commanded,(F) as a testimony to them.”
The Faith of the Centurion(G)
5 When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. 6 “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed,(H) suffering terribly.”
7 Jesus said to him, “Shall I come and heal him?”
8 The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.(I) 9 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
10 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.(J) 11 I say to you that many will come from the east and the west,(K) and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.(L) 12 But the subjects of the kingdom(M) will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”(N)
13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.”(O) And his servant was healed at that moment.
Jesus Heals Many(P)
14 When Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever. 15 He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on him.
16 When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.(Q) 17 This was to fulfill(R) what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:
The Cost of Following Jesus(T)
18 When Jesus saw the crowd around him, he gave orders to cross to the other side of the lake.(U) 19 Then a teacher of the law came to him and said, “Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.”
20 Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man(V) has no place to lay his head.”
21 Another disciple said to him, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”
22 But Jesus told him, “Follow me,(W) and let the dead bury their own dead.”
Jesus Calms the Storm(X)(Y)
23 Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. 24 Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. 25 The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”
26 He replied, “You of little faith,(Z) why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.(AA)
27 The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!”
Jesus Restores Two Demon-Possessed Men(AB)
28 When he arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes,[c] two demon-possessed(AC) men coming from the tombs met him. They were so violent that no one could pass that way. 29 “What do you want with us,(AD) Son of God?” they shouted. “Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?”(AE)
30 Some distance from them a large herd of pigs was feeding. 31 The demons begged Jesus, “If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.”
32 He said to them, “Go!” So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and died in the water. 33 Those tending the pigs ran off, went into the town and reported all this, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men. 34 Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus. And when they saw him, they pleaded with him to leave their region.(AF)
