Ang Talinghaga Patungkol sa Sampung Dalaga
25 Ang paghahari ng mga langit ay katulad sa sampung dalagang birhen. Pagkakuha nila ng kanilang mga ilawan, sila ay lumabas upang salubungin ang lalaking ikakasal.
2 Ang lima sa kanila ay matalino at ang lima ay mangmang. 3 Ito ay sapagkat sila na mga mangmang, pagkakuha ng kanilang mga ilawan, ay hindi nagdala ng langis. 4 Ang mga matalino ay nagdala ng langis sa kanilang lalagyan kasama ng kanilang mga ilawan. 5 Ngunit natagalan ang lalaking ikakasal. Silang lahat ay inantok at nakatulog.
6 Ngunit mayroong sumigaw sa kalagitnaan na ng gabi. Kaniyang sinabi: Narito, dumarating na ang lalaking ikakasal! Lumabas kayo at salubungin siya.
7 Bumangon ang lahat ng mga dalagang birhen at inihanda ang kanilang mga ilawan. 8 Sinabi ng mga mangmang na mga birhen sa mga matalino: Bigyan ninyo kami ng mga langis sapagkat mamamatay na ang aming ilawan.
9 Sumagot ang matatalinong birhen: Hindi maaari. Baka hindi ito maging sapat para sa inyo at sa amin. Pumunta na lang kayo roon sa mga nagtitinda at bumili kayo para sa inyong sarili.
10 Ngunit nang sila ay umalis upang bumili, ang lalaking ikakasal ay dumating. Silang mga nakahanda ay pumasok na kasama ang lalaking ikakasal sa piging ng kasalan at ang pinto ay isinara.
11 Maya-maya ay dumating ang ibang mga dalagang birhen. Sinabi nila: Panginoon, Panginoon, pagbuksan mo kami.
12 Ngunit sumagot siya: Katotohanang sinasabi ko sa inyo: Hindi ko kayo nakikilala.
13 Magbantay nga kayo sapagkat hindi ninyo alam ang araw ni ang oras ng pagdating ng Anak ng Tao.
Ang Talinghaga Patungkol sa Talento
14 Ito ay katulad din sa isang lalaking papaalis ng bansa. Tinawag niya ang kaniyang mga alipin at ipinagkatiwala sa kanila ang kaniyang mga ari-arian.
15 Ibinigay niya sa isang alipin ang limang talento, sa isa pang alipin ay dalawang talento at sa isa pang alipin ay isang talento. Binigyan niya ang bawat isa ayon sa kani-kaniyang kakayanan. Siya ay umalis agad ng bansa. 16 Siya na nakatanggap ng limang talento ay nangalakal at tumubo ng lima pang talento. 17 Gayundin ang nakatanggap ng dalawang talento, siya ay tumubo ng dalawa pa. 18 Ngunit siya na nakatanggap ng isang talento ay umalis. Siya ay naghukay sa lupa at itinago ang salapi ng kaniyang panginoon.
19 Pagkatapos ng mahabang panahon, dumating ang Panginoon ng mga aliping iyon at sila ay nagbigay-sulit sa kaniya. 20 Dumating ang nakatanggap ng limang talento at nagdala siya ng lima pang talento. Sinabi niya: Panginoon, ipinagkatiwala mo sa akin ang limang talento. Narito, bukod dito ay tumubo pa ako ng lima.
21 Sinabi ng kaniyang panginoon sa kaniya: Magaling ang iyong ginawa. Ikaw ay mabuti at tapat na alipin. Naging tapat ka sa kakaunting bagay. Pamamahalain kita sa maraming mga bagay. Pumasok ka sa kagalakan ng iyong panginoon.
22 Dumating din ang nakatanggap ng dalawang talento. Sinabi niya: Ipinagkatiwala mo sa akin ang dalawang talento. Tingnan mo, bukod dito ay tumubo pa ako ng dalawa.
23 Sinabi ng kaniyang panginoon sa kaniya: Magaling ang iyong ginawa. Ikaw ay mabuti at tapat na alipin. Naging tapat ka sa kakaunting bagay. Pamamahalain kita sa maraming bagay. Pumasok ka sa kagalakan ng iyong panginoon.
24 Dumating din ang nakatanggap ng isang talento. Sinabi niya: Panginoon, kilala kita na ikaw ay isang malupit na tao. Umaani ka sa hindi mo inihasik at nagtitipon sa hindi mo ikinalat. 25 Dahil sa takot, ako ay umalis at itinago ang iyong talento sa lupa. Narito ang para sa iyo.
26 Sumagot ang kaniyang panginoon: Ikaw ay masama at tamad na alipin! Nalalaman mo na ako ay umaani sa hindi ko inihasik at nagtitipon sa hindi ko ikinalat. 27 Nararapat sana na inilagay mo ang aking salapi sa mga mamamalit ng salapi.At sa aking pagdating ay tatanggapin ko ang aking salapi na may tubo.
28 Kunin nga sa kaniya ang talento at ibigay sa kaniya na may sampung talento. 29 Ito ay sapagkat ang bawat mayroon ay bibigyan at siya ay tatanggap ng sagana.Ngunit sa kaniya na wala, maging ang nasa kaniya ay kukunin sa kaniya. 30 Ang walang silbing alipin ay itatapon sa kadiliman sa labas. Doon ay may pananangis at pagngangalit ng mga ngipin.
Ang mga Tupa at ang mga Kambing
31 Darating ang Anak ng Tao sa kaniyang kaluwalhatian kasama ng mga banal na anghel. Kapag siya ay dumating, siya ay uupo sa trono ng kaniyang kaluwalhatian.
32 Titipunin niya ang lahat ng mga bansa sa kaniyang harapan. Ihihiwalay niya sila sa isa’t isa katulad ng paghihiwalay ng pastol sa mga tupa mula sa mga kambing. 33 Itatalaga niya ang mga tupa sa kaniyang kanang kamay, ngunit ang mga kambing ay sa kaniyang kaliwa.
34 Pagkatapos ay sasabihin ng hari sa mga nasa kaniyang kanang kamay: Halikayo, mga pinagpala ng aking Ama. Manahin ninyo ang paghaharing inihanda sa inyo mula pa nang itatag ang sanlibutan. 35 Ito ay sapagkat nagutom ako at binigyan ninyo ako ng makakain. Nauhaw ako at binigyan ninyo ako ng maiiinom. Ako ay naging taga-ibang bayan at ako ay inyong pinatuloy. 36 Ako ay naging hubad at dinamitan ninyo. Nagkasakit ako at ako ay inyong dinalaw. Nabilanggo ako at ako ay inyong pinuntahan.
37 Sasagot naman ang mga matuwid sa kaniya: Panginoon, kailan ka namin nakitang nagutom at pinakain ka namin o nauhaw at binigyan ng maiinom? 38 Kailan ka namin nakitang naging taga-ibang bayan at pinatuloy ka o naging hubad at dinamitan ka namin? 39 Kailan ka namin nakitang nagkasakit o nabilanggo at dumalaw kami sa iyo?
40 Sasagot ang hari sa kanila: Katotohanang sinasabi ko sa inyo: Anuman ang ginawa ninyo sa isa sa pinakamaliit na kapatid ko, ginawa ninyo ito sa akin.
41 Sasabihin din niya roon sa mga nasa kaliwa: Lumayo kayo sa akin, mga isinumpa. Doon kayo sa apoy na walang hanggan na inihanda para sa diyablo at sa kaniyang mga anghel. 42 Ito ay sapagkat nagutom ako ngunit hindi ninyo ako binigyan ng makakain. Nauhaw ako ngunit hindi ninyo ako binigyan ng maiinom. 43 Ako ay naging taga-ibang bayan ngunit hindi ninyo ako pinatuloy. Ako ay naging hubad ngunit hindi ninyo ako dinamitan. Nagkasakit ako at nabilanggo ngunit hindi ninyo ako dinalaw.
44 Sasagot din sila sa kaniya: Panginoon, kailan ka namin nakitang nagutom, o nauhaw, o naging taga-ibang bayan, o naging hubad o nabilanggo at hindi kami naglingkod sa iyo?
45 Siya ay sasagot sa kanila na sinasabi: Katotohanang sinasabi ko sa inyo: Anuman ang hindi ninyo ginawa para sa isa sa mga pinakamaliit na ito, hindi rin ninyo ito ginawa sa akin.
46 Ang mga ito ay pupunta sa kaparusahang walang hanggan. Ngunit ang mga matuwid ay sa buhay na walang hanggan.

Parábola de las diez muchachas
25 El reino de los cielos puede compararse a diez muchachas que en una boda tomaron sendas lámparas de aceite y salieron a recibir al novio. 2 Cinco de aquellas muchachas eran descuidadas, y las otras cinco previsoras. 3 Y sucedió que las descuidadas llevaron sus lámparas, pero olvidaron tomar el aceite necesario. 4 En cambio, las previsoras, junto con las lámparas, llevaron también alcuzas de aceite. 5 Como el novio tardaba en llegar, les entró sueño a todas y se durmieron. 6 Cuando a eso de la medianoche se oyó gritar: “¡Ya viene el novio! ¡Salid a recibirlo!”, 7 las diez muchachas se despertaron y comenzaron a preparar sus lámparas. 8 Las descuidadas, dirigiéndose a las previsoras, les dijeron: “Nuestras lámparas se están apagando. Dadnos un poco de vuestro aceite”. 9 Las previsoras les contestaron: “No podemos, porque entonces tampoco nosotras tendríamos bastante. Mejor es que acudáis a quienes lo venden y lo compréis”. 10 Pero mientras estaban comprándolo, llegó el novio, y las que lo tenían todo a punto entraron con él a la fiesta nupcial, y luego la puerta se cerró. 11 Más tarde llegaron las otras muchachas y se pusieron a llamar: “¡Señor, señor, ábrenos!”. 12 Pero él les contestó: “Os aseguro que no sé quiénes sois”.
13 Estad, pues, muy atentos porque no sabéis ni el día ni la hora [de la venida del Hijo del hombre].
Parábola del capital y los intereses
14 Igualmente [el reino de los cielos] es como un hombre que, al irse de viaje, reunió a sus criados y les confió la administración de sus negocios. 15 A cada cual, de acuerdo con su capacidad, le confió una cantidad de dinero: a uno le entregó cinco talentos; a otro, dos; y a otro, uno. Luego emprendió su viaje. 16 El que había recibido cinco talentos negoció con su capital y lo duplicó. 17 El que había recibido dos talentos hizo lo mismo, y también duplicó su capital. 18 En cambio, el que solamente había recibido un talento, tomó el dinero del amo, hizo un hoyo en el suelo y lo enterró. 19 Al cabo de mucho tiempo regresó el amo y se puso a hacer cuentas con sus criados. 20 Llegó el que había recibido los cinco talentos y, presentándole otros cinco, le dijo: “Señor, tú me entregaste cinco talentos; mira, he logrado duplicarlos”. 21 El amo le contestó: “Está muy bien. Has sido un administrador honrado y fiel. Y como has sido fiel en lo poco, yo te pondré al frente de mucho más. Entra y participa en mi propia alegría”. 22 Llegó después el que había recibido dos talentos, y dijo: “Señor, tú me entregaste dos talentos; mira, he logrado duplicarlos”. 23 El amo le dijo: “Está muy bien. Has sido un administrador honrado y fiel. Y como has sido fiel en lo poco, yo te pondré al frente de mucho más. Entra y participa en mi propia alegría”. 24 Por último, llegó el que solamente había recibido un talento, y dijo: “Señor, yo sabía que eres un hombre duro, que pretendes cosechar donde no sembraste y recoger donde no esparciste. 25 Tuve miedo y escondí tu dinero bajo tierra. Aquí lo tienes”. 26 El amo le contestó: “Administrador malo y holgazán: si sabías que yo cosecho donde no he sembrado y recojo donde no he esparcido, 27 ¿por qué no llevaste mi dinero al banco? Así, a mi regreso, yo habría recibido el capital más los intereses. 28 ¡Quitadle, pues, la parte que le confié y entregádsela al que tiene diez partes! 29 Porque a todo el que tiene, aún se le dará más, y tendrá de sobra; pero al que no tiene, hasta lo que tenga se le quitará. 30 Y a este criado inútil arrojadlo fuera, a la oscuridad. Allí llorará y le rechinarán los dientes”.
El juicio final
31 Cuando el Hijo del hombre venga con todo su esplendor y acompañado de todos sus ángeles, se sentará en su trono glorioso. 32 Todos los habitantes del mundo serán reunidos en su presencia, y él separará a unos de otros, como el pastor separa las ovejas de los machos cabríos, 33 poniendo las ovejas a un lado y los machos cabríos al otro. 34 Luego el rey dirá a los unos: “Venid, benditos de mi Padre; recibid en propiedad el reino que se os ha preparado desde el principio del mundo. 35 Porque estuve hambriento, y vosotros me disteis de comer; estuve sediento, y me disteis de beber; llegué como un extraño, y me recibisteis en vuestra casa; 36 no tenía ropa y me la disteis; estuve enfermo, y me visitasteis; en la cárcel, y fuisteis a verme”. 37 Entonces los justos le contestarán: “Señor, ¿cuándo te vimos hambriento o sediento y te dimos de comer y beber? 38 ¿Cuándo llegaste como un extraño y te recibimos en nuestras casas? ¿Cuándo te vimos sin ropa y te la dimos? 39 ¿Cuándo estuviste enfermo o en la cárcel y fuimos a verte?”. 40 Y el rey les dirá: “Os aseguro que todo lo que hayáis hecho en favor del más pequeño de mis hermanos, a mí me lo habéis hecho”. 41 A los otros, en cambio, dirá: “¡Apartaos de mí, malditos, al fuego eterno preparado para el diablo y sus ángeles! 42 Porque estuve hambriento, y no me disteis de comer; estuve sediento, y no me disteis de beber; 43 llegué como un extraño, y no me recibisteis en vuestra casa; me visteis sin ropa y no me la disteis; estuve enfermo y en la cárcel, y no me visitasteis”. 44 Entonces ellos contestarán: “Señor, ¿cuándo te vimos hambriento, o sediento, o como un extraño, o sin ropa, o enfermo, o en la cárcel y no te ofrecimos ayuda?”. 45 Y él les dirá: “Os aseguro que cuanto no hicisteis en favor de estos más pequeños, tampoco conmigo lo hicisteis”. 46 De manera que estos irán al castigo eterno; en cambio, los justos irán a la vida eterna.

The Parable of the Ten Virgins
25 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like(A) ten virgins who took their lamps(B) and went out to meet the bridegroom.(C) 2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise.(D) 3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4 The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.(E)
6 “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’
7 “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’(F)
9 “‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’
10 “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet.(G) And the door was shut.
11 “Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’
12 “But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’(H)
13 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.(I)
The Parable of the Bags of Gold(J)
14 “Again, it will be like a man going on a journey,(K) who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them. 15 To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag,[a] each according to his ability.(L) Then he went on his journey. 16 The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more. 17 So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more. 18 But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.
19 “After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them.(M) 20 The man who had received five bags of gold brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five bags of gold. See, I have gained five more.’
21 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things.(N) Come and share your master’s happiness!’
22 “The man with two bags of gold also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two bags of gold; see, I have gained two more.’
23 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things.(O) Come and share your master’s happiness!’
24 “Then the man who had received one bag of gold came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25 So I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’
26 “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? 27 Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.
28 “‘So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags. 29 For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.(P) 30 And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’(Q)
The Sheep and the Goats
31 “When the Son of Man comes(R) in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne.(S) 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate(T) the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.(U) 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom(V) prepared for you since the creation of the world.(W) 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,(X) 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me,(Y) I was sick and you looked after me,(Z) I was in prison and you came to visit me.’(AA)
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’(AB)
41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me,(AC) you who are cursed, into the eternal fire(AD) prepared for the devil and his angels.(AE) 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’
44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’
45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’(AF)
46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.(AG)”(AH)
