²⁰Kaya't ipanalangin ninyo na ang pagtakas ninyo ay hindi matapat sa taglamig o sa araw ng Sabbath. ²¹Sapagkat ^(A) sa panahong iyon ay magkakaroon ng matinding kapighatiang hindi pa nangyari mula sa pasimula ng sanlibutan hanggang ngayon, at hindi na kailanman mangyayari pa. ²²At malibang paiikliin ang mga araw na iyon, ang lahat ng laman ay mapapahamak. Ngunit alang-alang sa mga pinili ay paiikliin ang mga araw na iyon.

²¹For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

²²And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
