³⁰ Then they departed from there and passed through Galilee, and He did not want anyone to know it.

Jesus Again Predicts His Death^(A)

⁴³ And they were all amazed at the majesty of God.

But while everyone marveled at all the things which Jesus did, He said to His disciples, ^44 (B)“Let these words sink down into your ears, for the Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men.” ^45 (C)But they did not understand this saying, and it was hidden from them so that they did not perceive it; and they were afraid to ask Him about this saying.

^22 (B)Now while they were ^[a]staying in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men, ²³ and they will kill Him, and the third day He will be raised up.” And they were exceedingly ^(C)sorrowful.

^31 (A)And He said to them, “Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.” For ^(B)there were many coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat. ^32 (C)So they departed to a deserted place in the boat by themselves.

²² Pilate said to them, “What then shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?”

They all said to him, “Let Him be crucified!”

²³ Then the governor said, ^(A)“Why, what evil has He done?”

But they cried out all the more, saying, “Let Him be crucified!”
