³⁶ Then Jesus^[a] ordered them to tell no one, but the more he ordered them, the more zealously they proclaimed it.^(A)

⁴ Then Jesus said to him, “See that you say nothing to anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”^(A)

²⁶ Then he sent him away to his home, saying, “Do not even go into the village.”^[a](A)

⁴³ He strictly ordered them that no one should know this and told them to give her something to eat.

¹² But he sternly ordered them not to make him known.^(A)

⁴⁴ saying to him, “See that you say nothing to anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing what Moses commanded as a testimony to them.”^{(A) 45} But he went out and began to proclaim it freely and to spread the word, so that Jesus^[a] could no longer go into a town openly but stayed out in the country, and people came to him from every quarter.^(B)
