²⁵ But immediately a woman whose little daughter had an unclean spirit heard of him and came and fell down at his feet.

²² And behold, ^(A)a Canaanite woman from that region came out and was crying, ^(B)“Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David; my daughter is severely oppressed by a demon.”

⁸ I, ^(A)John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw them, ^(B)I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me, ^9 (C)but he said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those ^(D)who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”

²⁵ When Peter entered, Cornelius met him and ^(A)fell down at his feet and ^(B)worshiped him. ²⁶ But Peter lifted him up, saying, ^(C)“Stand up; I too am a man.”

¹⁶ and ^(A)he fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks. Now he was ^(B)a Samaritan.

¹⁷ And someone from the crowd answered him, “Teacher, I brought my son to you, for he has ^(A)a spirit that makes him mute. ¹⁸ And whenever it seizes him, it throws him down, and he foams and grinds his teeth and becomes rigid. So I asked your disciples to cast it out, and ^(B)they were not able.” ¹⁹ And he answered them, “O ^(C)faithless generation, ^(D)how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him to me.” ²⁰ And they brought the boy to him. And when the spirit saw him, immediately it ^(E)convulsed the boy, and he fell on the ground and rolled about, foaming at the mouth. ²¹ And Jesus asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said, “From childhood. ²² And it has often cast him into fire and into water, to destroy him. But ^(F)if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.” ²³ And Jesus said to him, ^(G)“‘If you can’! ^(H)All things are possible for one who believes.”

³³ But the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came in fear and trembling and fell down before him and told him the whole truth.

^22 (A)Then came one of ^(B)the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name, and seeing him, he fell at his feet ²³ and implored him earnestly, saying, “My little daughter is at the point of death. Come and ^(C)lay your hands on her, so that she may be made well and live.”

Jesus Cleanses a Leper

^40 (A)And a leper^[a] came to him, imploring him, and ^(B)kneeling said to him, ^(C)“If you will, you can make me clean.”
