³⁶ As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid; only ^(A)believe.”

⁵⁰ But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “Do not be afraid; ^(A)only believe, and she will be made well.”

²⁸ And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”

They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”

²⁹ Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.”

³⁴ And He said to her, “Daughter, ^(A)your faith has made you well. ^(B)Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”

¹⁸ who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, ^(A)“So shall your descendants be.” ¹⁹ And not being weak in faith, ^(B)he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), ^(C)and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. ²⁰ He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, ²¹ and being fully convinced that what He had promised ^(D)He was also able to perform. ²² And therefore ^(E)“it was accounted to him for righteousness.”

²³ Now ^(F)it was not written for his sake alone that it was imputed to him, ²⁴ but also for us. It shall be imputed to us who believe ^(G)in Him who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead,

²³ Jesus said to him, ^(A)“If^[a] you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

⁴⁰ Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would ^(A)see the glory of God?”

⁴⁸ Then Jesus said to him, ^(A)“Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe.”

⁴⁹ The nobleman said to Him, “Sir, come down before my child dies!”

⁵⁰ Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your son lives.” So the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way.

²⁰ So Jesus said to them, “Because of your ^[a]unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, ^(A)if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
