A Lamp Under a Basket

^21 (A)And he said to them, ^(B)“Is a lamp brought in to be put under a basket, or under a bed, and not on a stand?

^15 (A)Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.

Therefore it says,

^15 (AA)Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise,

¹⁵ that you may be blameless and innocent, ^(A)children of God ^(B)without blemish ^(C)in the midst of ^(D)a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine ^(E)as lights in the world, ¹⁶ holding fast to ^(F)the word of life, so that in ^(G)the day of Christ ^(H)I may be proud that ^(I)I did not run in vain or labor in vain.
