⁶ Now some of the scribes were sitting there, questioning in their hearts,

²¹ And the scribes and the Pharisees began to question, saying, “Who is this who speaks ^(A)blasphemies? ^(B)Who can forgive sins but God alone?” ²² When Jesus ^(C)perceived their thoughts, he answered them, “Why do you question in your hearts?

¹⁷ And ^(A)Jesus, aware of this, said to them, “Why are you discussing the fact that you have no bread? ^(B)Do you not yet perceive ^(C)or understand? ^(D)Are your hearts hardened?

⁵ We destroy arguments and ^(A)every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to ^(B)obey Christ,

⁷ And they began discussing it among themselves, saying, “We brought no bread.” ⁸ But ^(A)Jesus, aware of this, said, ^(B)“O you of little faith, why are you discussing among yourselves the fact that you have no bread?
