⁵ And when Jesus ^(A)saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Son, ^(B)your sins are forgiven.”

^2 (A)And behold, some people brought to him a paralytic, lying on a bed. And when Jesus ^(B)saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, ^(C)“Take heart, my son; ^(D)your sins are forgiven.”

¹⁵ And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And ^(A)if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

⁹ Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Rise, take up your bed and walk’? ¹⁰ But that you may know that ^(A)the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he said to the paralytic—

⁸ For ^(A)by grace you have been saved ^(B)through faith. And this is ^(C)not your own doing; ^(D)it is the gift of God,

⁴⁷ Therefore I tell you, her sins, ^(A)which are many, are forgiven—for she loved much. But he who is forgiven little, loves little.” ⁴⁸ And he said to her, ^(B)“Your sins are forgiven.” ⁴⁹ Then those who were at table with him began to say among^[a] themselves, ^(C)“Who is this, who even forgives sins?” ⁵⁰ And he said to the woman, ^(D)“Your faith has saved you; ^(E)go in peace.”

²² Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, ^(A)“Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.” ^(B)And instantly^[a] the woman was made well.

¹⁴ Afterward Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, “See, you are well! ^(A)Sin no more, ^(B)that nothing worse may happen to you.”

²⁰ And ^(A)when he saw their faith, he said, “Man, ^(B)your sins are forgiven you.”
