³⁵ And going a little farther, he fell on the ground ^(A)and prayed that, if it were possible, ^(B)the hour might pass from him.

⁷ In the days of his flesh, ^(A)Jesus^[a] offered up prayers and supplications, ^(B)with loud cries and tears, to him ^(C)who was able to save him from death, and ^(D)he was heard because of his reverence.

⁴¹ And he came the third time and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and taking your rest? ^(A)It is enough; ^(B)the hour has come. ^(C)The Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

¹⁴ And the four living creatures ^(A)said, “Amen!” and the elders ^(B)fell down and worshiped.

¹⁰ the twenty-four elders ^(A)fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They cast ^(B)their crowns before the throne, saying,

²⁵ When Peter entered, Cornelius met him and ^(A)fell down at his feet and ^(B)worshiped him. ²⁶ But Peter lifted him up, saying, ^(C)“Stand up; I too am a man.”

¹⁵ Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, ^(A)praising God with a loud voice; ¹⁶ and ^(B)he fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks. Now he was ^(C)a Samaritan.

³⁹ And going a little farther he fell on his face ^(A)and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it be possible, let ^(B)this cup pass from me; ^(C)nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.”

³ When all the people of Israel saw the fire come down and the glory of the Lord on the temple, they bowed down with their faces to the ground on the pavement and worshiped and gave thanks to the Lord, saying, “For he is good, ^(A)for his steadfast love endures forever.”

¹⁵ And God sent the angel to Jerusalem to destroy it, but as he was about to destroy it, the Lord saw, and he ^(A)relented from the calamity. And he said to the angel who was working destruction, “It is enough; now stay your hand.” And the angel of the Lord was standing by the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite. ¹⁶ And David lifted his eyes and saw the angel of the Lord standing between earth and heaven, and in his hand a drawn sword stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders, ^(B)clothed in sackcloth, fell upon their faces.
