¹⁸ And as they were reclining at table and eating, ^(A)Jesus said, “Truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me, ^(B)one who is eating with me.”

⁷⁰ Jesus answered them, ^(A)“Did I not choose you, ^(B)the twelve? And yet one of you is ^(C)a devil.”

^18 (A)Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were young, ^(B)you used to dress yourself and walk wherever you wanted, but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will dress you and carry you where you do not want to go.”

³⁸ Jesus answered, “Will you lay down your life for me? Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(A)the rooster will not crow till you have denied me three times.

One of You Will Betray Me

²¹ After saying these things, ^(A)Jesus was troubled in his spirit, and testified, ^(B)“Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(C)one of you will betray me.”

⁴⁷ Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(A)whoever believes has eternal life.

³² Jesus then said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven.

²⁶ Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(A)you are seeking me, not because you saw ^(B)signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves.

²⁴ Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(A)whoever hears my word and ^(B)believes him who sent me has eternal life. He ^(C)does not come into judgment, but ^(D)has passed from death to life.

²⁵ “Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(E)an hour is coming, and is now here, when ^(F)the dead will hear ^(G)the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear ^(H)will live.
