²⁶And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?

²⁶The disciples were even more amazed, and said to each other, “Who then can be saved?”

²⁷And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

²⁷Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”^(A)

¹³For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

¹³for it is God who works in you^(A) to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.^(B)
