^10 (A)Then Judas Iscariot, ^(B)who was one of the twelve, went away to the chief priests in order to ^[a]betray Him to them. ¹¹ And when they heard this, they were glad and promised to give him money. And he began seeking how to betray Him at an opportune time.

Judas Looks to Betray Jesus

^14 (A)Then one of the twelve, named ^(B)Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests ¹⁵ and said, “What are you willing to give me ^[a]to ^(C)deliver Him to you?” And ^(D)they weighed out ^[b]thirty pieces of silver to him. ¹⁶ And from then on he began looking for a good opportunity to ^[c]betray ^[d]Jesus.

^3 (A)And ^(B)Satan entered into Judas who was called Iscariot, who ^[a]belonged to the number of the twelve. ⁴ And he went away and discussed with the chief priests and ^(C)officers how he might betray Him to them. ⁵ And they were glad and agreed to give him money. ⁶ So he consented, and began seeking a good opportunity to betray Him to them ^[b]apart from the crowd.
