32 Now (A)when evening came, (B)after the sun had set, they began bringing to Him all who were ill and those who were (C)demon-possessed. 33 And the whole (D)city had gathered at the door. 34 And He (E)healed many who were ill with various diseases, and cast out many demons; and He would not permit the demons to speak, because they knew [a]who He was.

35 (F)And in the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place, and (G)prayed there for a time. 36 Simon and his companions eagerly searched for Him; 37 and they found Him and *said to Him, “Everyone is looking for You.” 38 He *said to them, “Let’s go somewhere else to the towns nearby, so that I may also [b]preach there; for this is why I came.” 39 (H)And He went into their synagogues [c]preaching throughout Galilee, and casting out the demons.

Jesus Prays in a Solitary Place(D)

35 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.(E) 36 Simon and his companions went to look for him, 37 and when they found him, they exclaimed: “Everyone is looking for you!”

38 Jesus replied, “Let us go somewhere else—to the nearby villages—so I can preach there also. That is why I have come.”(F) 39 So he traveled throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues(G) and driving out demons.(H)
