Jézus beszéde az írástudók és a farizeusok ellen(A)
23 Akkor Jézus így szólt a sokasághoz és tanítványaihoz:
2 "Az írástudók és farizeusok a Mózes székébe ültek.
3 Tehát mindazt, amit mondanak, tegyétek meg és tartsátok meg, de cselekedeteiket ne kövessétek, mert beszélnek ugyan róla, de nem teszik.
4 Súlyos és elhordozhatatlan terheket kötnek össze, és az emberek vállára rakják, de maguk az ujjukkal sem akarják azokat megmozdítani.
5 Mindent csak azért tesznek, hogy feltűnjenek az embereknek: megszélesítik imaszíjaikat, és megnagyobbítják ruhájuk bojtjait;
6 a lakomákon az asztalfőn és a zsinagógákban a főhelyeken szeretnek ülni;
7 szeretik, ha köszöntik őket a tereken, és ha mesternek szólítják őket."
8 "De ti ne hívassátok magatokat mesternek, mert egy a ti mesteretek, ti pedig mindnyájan testvérek vagytok.
9 Atyátoknak se szólítsatok senkit a földön, mert egy a ti Atyátok, aki a mennyben van.
10 Ne hívassátok magatokat tanítóknak se, mert egy a ti tanítótok: a Krisztus.
11 Aki pedig a legnagyobb közöttetek, az legyen szolgátok!
12 Mert aki felmagasztalja magát, megaláztatik, és aki megalázza magát, felmagasztaltatik."
13 "Jaj nektek, képmutató írástudók és farizeusok, mert bezárjátok a mennyek országát az emberek előtt: ti magatok nem mentek be, és azokat sem engeditek be, akik be akarnak menni." (
14 "Jaj nektek, képmutató írástudók és farizeusok, mert felemésztitek az özvegyek házát, és színlelésből mégis hosszasan imádkoztok: ezzel súlyosabb ítéletet vontok magatokra.")
15 "Jaj nektek, képmutató írástudók és farizeusok, mert bejárjátok a tengert és a szárazföldet, hogy egyetlen pogányt zsidó hitre térítsetek, és ha ez megtörtént, a gyehenna fiává teszitek, kétszerte inkább magatoknál."
16 "Jaj nektek, vak vezetők, akik ezt mondjátok: ha valaki a templomra esküszik, az semmi, de ha valaki a templom aranyára esküszik, azt köti az eskü.
17 Bolondok és vakok, mi a nagyobb: az arany vagy a templom, amely megszenteli az aranyat?
18 Ezt is mondjátok: ha valaki az oltárra esküszik, az semmi, de ha valaki a rajta levő ajándékra esküszik, azt köti az eskü.
19 Bolondok és vakok, mi a nagyobb: az ajándék vagy az oltár, amely megszenteli az ajándékot?
20 Aki tehát az oltárra esküszik, az arra is esküszik, ami rajta van.
21 Aki pedig a templomra esküszik, az arra is esküszik, aki benne lakik.
22 Aki pedig az égre esküszik, az az Isten királyi székére esküszik, és arra is, aki azon ül."
23 "Jaj nektek, képmutató írástudók és farizeusok, mert tizedet adtok a mentából, a kaporból és a köményből, de elhagytátok mindazt, ami a törvényben ezeknél fontosabb: az igazságos ítéletet, az irgalmasságot és a hűséget; pedig ezeket kellene cselekedni, és azokat sem elhagyni.
24 Vak vezetők: kiszűritek a szúnyogot, a tevét pedig lenyelitek."
25 "Jaj nektek, képmutató írástudók és farizeusok, mert megtisztítjátok a pohár és a tál külsejét, belül pedig tele van rablásvággyal és féktelenséggel.
26 Vak farizeus, tisztítsd meg először a pohár és a tál belsejét, hogy azután a külseje is tiszta legyen!"
27 "Jaj nektek, képmutató írástudók és farizeusok, mert hasonlók vagytok a meszelt sírokhoz, amelyek kívülről szépnek látszanak, de belül tele vannak halottak csontjaival és mindenféle tisztátalansággal.
28 Így kívülről ti is igaznak látszotok az emberek szemében, de belül tele vagytok képmutatással és törvényszegéssel."
29 "Jaj nektek, képmutató írástudók és farizeusok, mert síremlékeket emeltek a prófétáknak, és felékesítitek az igazak sírköveit,
30 és ezt mondjátok: Ha atyáink idejében éltünk volna, nem vettünk volna részt velük a próféták vérének kiontásában.
31 Így magatok ellen tanúskodtok azzal, hogy fiai vagytok a próféták gyilkosainak.
32 Éljetek csak ti is atyáitok mértéke szerint!
33 Kígyók, viperák fajzata! Hogyan menekülhetnétek meg a gyehennával sújtó ítélettől?
34 Ezért íme, küldök hozzátok prófétákat, bölcseket és írástudókat: egyeseket közülük megöltök és keresztre feszítetek majd, másokat megkorbácsoltok zsinagógáitokban, és városról városra üldöztök,
35 hogy rátok szálljon minden igaz vér, amelyet kiontottak a földön, az igaz Ábel vérétől Zakariásnak, a Barakiás fiának véréig, akit a templom és az áldozati oltár között gyilkoltatok meg.
36 Bizony, mondom néktek: mindez megtörténik ezzel a nemzedékkel."

5 “他们的所作所为是为了给人看的，他们把额上佩戴的经文盒子加宽了，又将衣裳的穗边加长了。 6 他们喜欢宴席中的上座和会堂里的首位。 7 他们喜欢别人在街市上问候他们，称呼他们为老师[a]。 8 但你们不要让别人称呼你们为老师，因为你们只有一位老师，你们彼此都是弟兄。 9 不要称呼地上的人为父亲，因为你们只有一位父亲，祂在天上。 10 不要让人称你们为导师，因为你们只有一位导师——基督。 11 你们当中谁最伟大，谁就要做你们的仆人。 12 自高的人必遭贬抑，谦卑的人必得尊荣。

23 “虚伪的律法教师和法利赛人啊，你们有祸了！你们把薄荷、茴香、芹菜献上十分之一，却忽略了律法中更重要的事——公正、怜悯、信实。后者是你们本该做的，前者也不可忽略。 24 瞎眼的向导啊！你们滤出蚊虫，却吞下骆驼。

29 “虚伪的律法教师和法利赛人啊，你们有祸了！你们为先知建墓，为义人修碑，并且说， 30 ‘如果我们活在我们祖先的时代，绝不会和他们一起去杀害先知。’ 31 这样，你们自己证明自己是杀害先知之人的后代。 32 去填满你们祖先的罪恶吧！ 33 你们这些蛇，这些毒蛇的后代啊，你们怎能逃脱地狱的刑罚呢？

Hypocrisy Exposed
23 (A)Then Jesus spoke to the crowds and to His disciples, 2 saying: “(B)The scribes and the Pharisees have seated themselves in the chair of Moses. 3 Therefore, whatever they tell you, do and [a]comply with it all, but do not do [b]as they do; for they say things and do not do them. 4 And (C)they tie up heavy burdens and lay them on people’s shoulders, but they themselves are unwilling to move them with so much as their finger. 5 And they do all their deeds (D)to be noticed by other people; for they (E)broaden their [c]phylacteries and lengthen (F)the tassels of their garments. 6 And they (G)love the place of honor at banquets, and the seats of honor in the synagogues, 7 and personal greetings in the marketplaces, and being called [d](H)Rabbi by the people. 8 But as for you, (I)do not be called [e](J)Rabbi; for only One is your Teacher, and you are all brothers and sisters. 9 And do not call anyone on earth your father; for only (K)One is your Father, He who is in heaven. 10 And do not be called [f]leaders; for only One is your Leader, that is, Christ. 11 (L)But the greatest of you shall be your servant. 12 (M)Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled, and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted.
Eight Woes
13 “(N)But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, (O)because you shut the kingdom of heaven in front of people; for you do not enter it yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.[g]
15 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you travel around on sea and land to make one [h](P)proselyte; and when he becomes one, you [i]make him twice as much a son of [j](Q)hell as yourselves.
16 “Woe to you, (R)blind guides, who say, ‘(S)Whoever swears by the [k]temple, that is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the [l]temple is obligated.’ 17 You fools and blind men! (T)Which is [m]more important, the gold or the [n]temple that sanctified the gold? 18 And you say, ‘Whoever swears by the altar, that is nothing; but whoever swears by the [o]offering that is on it is obligated.’ 19 You blind men, (U)which is [p]more important, the [q]offering or the altar that sanctifies the [r]offering? 20 Therefore, the one who swears by the altar, swears both by [s]the altar and by everything on it. 21 And the one who swears by the [t]temple, swears both by [u]the temple and by Him who (V)dwells in it. 22 And the one who swears by [v]heaven, (W)swears both by the throne of God and by Him who sits upon it.
23 “(X)Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and [w]cumin, and have neglected the weightier provisions of the Law: justice and mercy and faithfulness; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others. 24 You (Y)blind guides, who [x]strain out a gnat and swallow a camel!
25 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For (Z)you clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside they are full [y]of robbery and self-indulgence. 26 You blind Pharisee, first (AA)clean the inside of the cup and of the dish, so that the [z]outside of it may also become clean.
27 “(AB)Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which on the outside appear beautiful, but inside they are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. 28 So you too, outwardly appear righteous to people, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.
29 “(AC)Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you build the tombs for the prophets and decorate the monuments of the righteous, 30 and you say, ‘If we had been living in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partners with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’ 31 So you testify against yourselves, that you (AD)are [aa]sons of those who murdered the prophets. 32 [ab]Fill up, then, the measure of the guilt of your fathers. 33 You snakes, (AE)you [ac]offspring of vipers, how [ad]will you escape the [ae]sentence of [af](AF)hell?
34 “(AG)Therefore, behold, (AH)I am sending you prophets and wise men and scribes; some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will (AI)flog in your synagogues, and (AJ)persecute from city to city, 35 so that upon you will fall the guilt of all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous (AK)Abel to the blood of Zechariah, the (AL)son of Berechiah, whom (AM)you murdered between the [ag]temple and the altar. 36 Truly I say to you, all these things will come upon (AN)this generation.
Grieving over Jerusalem
37 “(AO)Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who (AP)kills the prophets and stones those who have been sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, (AQ)the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling. 38 Behold, (AR)your house is being left to you desolate! 39 For I say to you, from now on you will not see Me until you say, ‘(AS)Blessed is the One who comes in the name of the Lord!’”
