43 And they were all astonished at the (A)majesty of God.
Jesus Foretells His Death and Resurrection
(B)But while everyone was marveling at all that He was doing, He said to His disciples, 44 “Put these words into your ears; (C)for the Son of Man is going to be [a]delivered into the hands of men.” 45 But (D)they [b]did not understand this statement, and it was concealed from them so that they would not perceive it, and they were afraid to ask Him about this statement.

Jesus Predicts His Death and Resurrection
While everyone was amazed at all the things Jesus was doing, he said to his disciples, 44 “Let these words sink into your ears[a] and remember this: The Son of Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men.” 45 But they did not understand what he was saying. It was hidden from them so they did not grasp it. And they were afraid to ask him about this statement.
