27 And I tell you truly, there are some standing here who will not taste of death till they see the kingdom of God.
28 And it followed about eight days after those sayings that Jesus took Peter, James, and John, and went up into a mountain to pray. 29 And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was changed, and his garment was white and shone.

28 About eight days after Jesus said this, he took Peter, John and James(B) with him and went up onto a mountain to pray.(C) 29 As he was praying, the appearance of his face changed, and his clothes became as bright as a flash of lightning.
