³¹ And Jesus answered and said to them, “^(A)It is not those who are well who need a physician, but those who are sick. ³² I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.”

^17 (A)From that time Jesus began to ^[a]preach and say, “^(B)Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

⁴⁶ and He said to them, “^(A)Thus it is written, that the ^[a]Christ would suffer and ^(B)rise again from the dead the third day, ⁴⁷ and that ^(C)repentance ^[b]for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed ^[c]in His name to ^(D)all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. ⁴⁸ You are ^(E)witnesses of these things.

¹² But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become ^(A)children of God, even ^(B)to those who believe in His name,

³⁰ and after he brought them out, he said, “Sirs, ^(A)what must I do to be saved?”

The Jailer Converted

³¹ They said, “^(B)Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and ^(C)your household.” ³² And they spoke the word of ^[a]the Lord to him together with all who were in his house. ³³ And he took them ^(D)that very hour of the night and washed their wounds, and immediately he was baptized, he and all his household.

^9 [a]that ^(A)if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and ^(B)believe in your heart that ^(C)God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; ¹⁰ for with the heart a person believes, ^[b]resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, ^[c]resulting in salvation.

^7 (A)In ^[a]Him we have ^(B)redemption ^(C)through His blood, the ^(D)forgiveness of our trespasses, according to ^(E)the riches of His grace

⁸ For ^(A)by grace you have been saved ^(B)through faith; and ^[a]that not of yourselves, it is ^(C)the gift of God; ^9 (D)not as a result of works, so that ^(E)no one may boast. ¹⁰ For we are His workmanship, ^(F)created in ^(G)Christ Jesus for ^(H)good works, which God ^(I)prepared beforehand so that we would ^(J)walk in them.
