^3 (A)Then ^(B)Satan entered into ^(C)Judas called Iscariot, who was of the number of the twelve.

² During supper, when ^(A)the devil had already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him,

^10 (A)Then ^(B)Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve, ^(C)went to the chief priests in order to betray him to them. ¹¹ And when they heard it, they were glad and promised to give him money. And he sought an opportunity to ^(D)betray him.

³ But Peter said, “Ananias, why has ^(A)Satan filled your heart to lie ^(B)to the Holy Spirit and ^(C)to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land?

²⁶ Jesus answered, ^(A)“It is he to whom I will give this morsel of bread ^(B)when I have dipped it.” So when he had dipped the morsel, ^(C)he gave it to Judas, ^(D)the son of Simon Iscariot. ²⁷ Then after he had taken the morsel, ^(E)Satan entered into him. Jesus said to him, ^(F)“What you are going to do, do quickly.”

^18 (A)I am not speaking of all of you; I know ^(B)whom I have chosen. But ^(C)the Scripture will be fulfilled,^{[a] (D)}‘He who ate my bread has lifted his heel against me.’

^21 (A)But behold, the hand of him who betrays me is ^(B)with me on the table.

¹⁸ And as they were reclining at table and eating, ^(A)Jesus said, “Truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me, ^(B)one who is eating with me.” ¹⁹ They began to be sorrowful and to say to him one after another, “Is it I?” ²⁰ He said to them, “It is ^(C)one of the twelve, ^(D)one who is dipping bread into the dish with me.
