25 (A)And He said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles domineer over them; and those who have authority over them are called ‘Benefactors.’ 26 But it is not this way for you; (B)rather, the one who is the greatest among you must become like (C)the youngest, and the leader like the servant. 27 For (D)who is greater, the one who reclines at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at the table? But (E)I am among you as the one who serves.

26 but ye [are] not so, but he who is greater among you -- let him be as the younger; and he who is leading, as he who is ministering;

27 for who is greater? he who is reclining (at meat), or he who is ministering? is it not he who is reclining (at meat)? and I -- I am in your midst as he who is ministering.
