^19 (A)And he took bread, and ^(B)when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, ^(C)“This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”

²³ For ^(A)I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that ^(B)the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, ²⁴ and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body, which is for^[a] you. Do this in remembrance of me.”^{[b] 25} In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” ²⁶ For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death ^(C)until he comes.

^27 (D)Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord ^(E)in an unworthy manner will be guilty concerning ^(F)the body and blood of the Lord. ^28 (G)Let a person examine himself, then, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup. ²⁹ For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment on himself.

^16 (A)The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? ^(B)The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ?

²⁰ And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, ^(A)“This cup that is poured out for you is ^(B)the new ^(C)covenant in my blood.^[a]

^22 (A)And as they were eating, he took bread, and after ^(B)blessing it broke it and gave it to them, and said, “Take; ^(C)this is my body.” ²³ And he took a cup, and when he had ^(D)given thanks he gave it to them, and they all drank of it. ²⁴ And he said to them, ^(E)“This is my ^(F)blood of the^[a] covenant, which is poured out for ^(G)many.

^26 (A)Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and ^(B)after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; ^(C)this is my body.” ²⁷ And he took a cup, and when he ^(D)had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you, ²⁸ for ^(E)this is my ^(F)blood of the^[a] covenant, which is poured out for ^(G)many ^(H)for the forgiveness of sins.

⁴ and ^(A)all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank from the spiritual Rock that followed them, and the Rock was Christ.

^14 (A)who gave himself for us to ^(B)redeem us from all lawlessness and ^(C)to purify for himself ^(D)a people for his own possession who are ^(E)zealous for good works.
