²⁶ ‘I tell you that ^(A)to everyone who has, more will be given, but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.

⁸ Watch yourselves, ^(A)so that you may not lose what we^[a] have worked for, but ^(B)may win a full reward.

^18 (A)Take care then how you hear, ^(B)for to the one who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what he thinks that he has will be taken away.”

^12 (A)For to the one who has, more will be given, and he will have an abundance, but from the one who has not, ^(B)even what he has will be taken away.

⁴³ Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God ^(A)will be taken away from you and given to a people ^(B)producing its fruits.

²⁸ So take the talent from him and give it to him who has the ten talents. ^29 (A)For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.

³ I know you are enduring patiently and bearing up ^(A)for my name's sake, and you ^(B)have not grown weary.

²⁸ And Samuel said to him, ^(A)“The Lord has torn the kingdom of Israel from you this day and has given it to a neighbor of yours, who is better than you.

³⁰ Therefore the Lord, the God of Israel, declares: ^(A)‘I promised that your house and the house of your father should go in and out before me forever,’ ^(B)but now the Lord declares: ‘Far be it from me, for those who honor me I will honor, and those who despise me shall be lightly esteemed.
