²² But the father said to his servants,^[a] ‘Bring quickly ^(A)the best robe, and put it on him, and put ^(B)a ring on his hand, and ^(C)shoes on his feet.

¹¹ Then they were each given ^(A)a white robe and ^(B)told to rest a little longer, ^(C)until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers^{[a] (D)}should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been.

³ Now ^(A)Joshua was standing before the angel, ^(B)clothed with filthy garments. ⁴ And the angel said to ^(C)those who were standing before him, ^(D)“Remove the filthy garments from him.” And to him he said, “Behold, ^(E)I have taken your iniquity away from you, and ^(F)I will clothe you with pure vestments.” ⁵ And I said, ^(G)“Let them put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the Lord was standing by.

^2 (A)And the king took off his signet ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it to Mordecai. And Esther set Mordecai over the house of Haman.

⁴² Then Pharaoh ^(A)took his signet ring from his hand and put it on Joseph's hand, and ^(B)clothed him in garments of fine linen ^(C)and put a gold chain about his neck.

^10 (A)So the king took his signet ring from his hand and gave it to Haman ^(B)the Agagite, the son of Hammedatha, ^(C)the enemy of the Jews.

for the fine linen is ^(B)the righteous deeds of the saints.

A Great Multitude from Every Nation

⁹ After this I looked, and behold, ^(A)a great multitude that no one could number, ^(B)from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, ^(C)clothed in white robes, with ^(D)palm branches in their hands,
